Huddy and Hogan??

Now, I don't want to offend any die-hard wrestling fans out there, but I havn't really been into it since the days of JYD and Ricky 'The Dragon" Steamboat.

That said, there is one timeless figure that stands alone as the Neil Armstrong of professional wrestling. Yes, that man is Hulk Hogan - here visiting the former (tear) Dayside set.
















I have no idea what that chick in the skirt is up to, but the Hulkster can not be happy about it.

Huddy A Good Tipper

No, this post has nothing to do with Al Gore, thank goodness.
I was just doing a little reading, and still had Regis on the brain, and came across something interesting in the New York Daily News c/o Rush & Molloy.

* Regis Philbin's mug was plastered all over the Jumbotron at a Yankee doubleheader. Unfortunately, the cameraman didn't catch the look on his waitress' face when Reege left her a 75-cent tip. She was overheard complaining about it to fellow servers …

Now, I don't know about you, but surely Juliet would do a little better than that - I mean, this guy is on like 15 show at a time, and he stiffs a waitress...

I mean, come on - 75 cents?? I realize that is 1.5 rappers, but give me a break...

Huddy's New Competition

I have been doing some thinking about Huddy's new network show coming up in January (with her off the air, I have time).

I will bring up an article from the Washington Post from this past July.

"The program, which is not yet titled, will air at 9 a.m. in this market following the local "Fox Morning News" and will be hosted by Fox News Channel's Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy live from New York. The duo currently hosts FNC's "DaySide" but will leave that show in the fall. [...] In this market, the show will go up against two other news shows: a one-hour local newscast on WUSA (Channel 9) and the last hour of NBC's 'Today' show on WRC (Channel 4). It will also face "Live With Regis and Kelly" on WJLA (Channel 7)."

So - we have a local newscast and then Regis and Kelly. The local stuff won't hold water, but that over-hyped duo could be a challenge - one that I expect Hudy to win.

Huddy No Longer Queen of 1PM

Did anyone else turn on Fox News today at 1 thinking that Huddy would be on there in her now, old (tear), Dayside slot??

Now, I have nothing against Martha, but we all have our favorites, and Huddy was mine.

Anyone have any ideas where we can find Huddy between now and the start of her network gig?
