Huddy Alma Mater Update

Now if you have been follwing my posting for a while, you will remember that I called attention to Huddy's alma mater, the University of Missouri, here. Now, I was going off of USA Today's opinion of that team - which was not very optimistic of their prospects. In the interest of being fair and balanced, I will tell you that Missouri is now 6-1, and ranked #24 in the AP poll.
So far they have beaten Mississippi, Colorado and Texas Tech. In fact, last week, they had their first loss to Texas A&M. That said, the coming weeks will be some pretty big tests: Oklahoma and Nebraska.

Anyway, for all those Tiger fans out there - Huddy included - there are plenty of reasons to be happy... And if Hudy is happy we are all happy.

Name that Huddy!

Talk about you all-time softball questions... but can you name those fishnets??

When? Where? What? With Whom? Why not?

Available Huddy?

Ever the one to tell her audience what is really on her mind, Juliet Huddy showcases to the world her current status. Yes, boys, that is an empty ring finger.

Keep hope alive!!

Huddy Doesn't Buy That Routine

Here Jerrick tries to impress Juliet by talking about how it is the size of the boat, not necessarily the motion of the ocean, that works for him.

Obviously, Huddy is all business, and has heard his bit before.

Juliet Huddy: Newsbabe

On the blog Heartland Notebook, a fellow blogger noted on Monday that FNC was his cable news network of choice. I heartily support this assertion on a number of levels. One point that I found particulairy interesting is the following:
"One other thing regarding Fox, et al; if they didn’t invent, they certainly popularized, the News Babe, for which may I just say thank yew, thank yew from the bottom of my triple bypass. While bad news will always be bad news, it is infinitely more palatable when delivered by eye candy like Patti Ann Brown … or Juliet Huddy … or Jane Skinner … or Kiran Chetry … or … but I digress."

Not a bad point. It stands to reason that they have become a popular nework for many reasons - this among them.

All I know is that whomever put Huddy on the air deserves the Nobel prize.

Huddy Dunk

Here is another Huddy moment from the vault: back from the F&F days.

Please follow along:

I wish I was the one that gave Huddy a hand when she was that wet...

Ahh, the good old days.

Thanks for the shots, Backrate.

YES!!! The Day of Huddy Has Arrived!!

Finally, at long last, I have found the goods: Juliet Huddy at the Fox News anniversary party.
Without further ado...

Now Rebecca Gomez is no slouch, but Huddy is a league of her own. Fantastic.

[How long 'till January?]

Huddy is "A+" List

Surprise, surprise - the folks over at Newshounds are calling out something else that Fox News is doing. I know, they have lots of free time on their hands.

Anyway, the latest issue they have is that on Martha MacCallum's recent "Live Desk" show, that she featured current Fox employee Juliet Huddy.
"MacCallum's 'A-List' wild card personality for Tuesday (Oct. 10, 2006) was Juliet Huddy, who failed as a co-host of Fox News' 'Dayside' until it was replaced by MacCallum's new show last month. Huddy followed other Fox News employees as wild cards, including Neil Cavuto and Geraldo Rivera."
Now what possible harm could having Huddy on this panel have? First of all, she obviously has fans that want to see her, and on the other hand, she is smart, and has opinions that people might want to hear. What else could you want from a panel member?
Sheez!!
