Does anyone know where I can find Huddy photos from the Fox News Anniversary party last night?

I have seen some pictures here... but none of Ms. Huddy.

I'm sure she must have been looking great, as usual, but I would be interested to see what she was wearing.

Happy 10th Anniversary To Fox News - Huddy's Home

Now, obviously I am a huge fan of Juliet Huddy, but I am also a fan of Fox News. It really seems strange that they have been on the air a decade already. (Oh 1996, where art thou?)

You have to give it to the brass for providing young talent like Huddy a chance to suceed, and giving them an opportunity to shine. It is one of the components that has made them so successful.

So, for showing Huddy to the big stage - I salute you.

Huddy Loves a Good Party

According to TV Newser and Inside Cable News, Fox News is throwing a huge bash tonight in NYC in celebration of their 10th Anniversary.

"Fox News Channel is getting ready for its 10th anniversary VIP party, hosted by Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes, tonight outside the News Corp building at 48th St. and Sixth Ave in NYC. The party starts at 7pm.

"Tiki Barber, Mike Wallace, Donald Trump, Mel Karmazin and Gov. George Pataki are all expected at the celebration," Page Six says. Other boldface names include Spike Feresten, Rockmond Dunbar, Amaury Nolasco, and Fox Newsers like Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Shepard Smith, Greta Van Susteren, Brit Hume, Neil Cavuto, Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade, Chris Wallace, Jane Skinner, Alexis Glick and many others..."

I think we can safely asssume that Juliet Huddy will be one of the "others."
I hope someone will snap her photo at the shindig. I bet she will look smashing.

Huddy Not a Top 10 Sexiest Anchor?

I recently saw that Maxim magazine had made a list of the Top 10 "TV's Sexiest News Anchors", and had NOT included our beloved Juliet Huddy. While I give you a second to try and come up up with some possible idea of how in the world this could happen, I list the people that did make the list.

10. Lara Logan, CBS News and 60 Minutes
9. Cinnamon Stouffer, CNN Headline News
8. Lisa Guerrero, random entertainment and junk TV
7. Sharon Tay, former host of MSNBC at the Movies
6. Bobbie Thomas, product guru for Fox Sports’ Best Damn Sports Show Period
5. Melissa Stark, NBC/MSNBC
4. Suzy Kolber, ESPN
3. Kiran Chetry, Fox News
2. Stephen Colbert, The Colbert Report
1. Melissa Theuriau, somewhere/something in France [see here, here, here, here, here.]

While there are a few that I won't begin to argue with, say one French Melissa Theuriau, there are a few that are HIGHLY questionable. Say, oh, I don't know... maybe frickin' Steven Colbert!

Now, I love his show, but he has no place on this list, and everyone knows it. I could say similiar things, to a lesser degree, about Suzy Kolber, Sharon Tay, and others.
As an aside, I do love the mention of Kiran Chetry - she is another one high on my list - but Huddy is my #1.

Maxim also has a Top 10 of "TV's Least Appealing Ladies" - please use use caution with this one - and no eating 30 minutes prior to viewing.

Huddy and Dhue Get Along Quite Well, Thank You

I saw that my previous blog entry "Dhue Hates Huddy???" was picked up on another site, Maximum 360, and didn't want to confuse anyone by my joking expression, therefore I wanted to set the record straight.

Juliet Huddy and Laurie Dhue are great friends.

Now I have no idea how much money Mike Jerrick paid Juliet, Laurie and Rebecca Gomez to be with them in a picture - maybe it's better not to ask too many questions. Regardless, he sure has his hands full with that bunch...

Ailes Knows His Huddy

There is a great read in the Washington Post this morning, about Fox News and the primary reason for its success: Roger Ailes.

"Ten years after he created Fox News Channel, Roger Ailes says he still avoids mentioning his place of employment in certain circles.

'It's just not worth going through the hassle at an elite party,' he says. And: 'The only reason I know we're doing the right thing is that we're widely criticized.' And: 'I've never felt out of the mainstream in America. I've felt out of the mainstream at Le Cirque.'"

Clearly Ailes knows his stuff. The channel is a huge success, and it has also allowed Juliet Huddy to work he way up the ranks - to her big-time network gig. Ailes is clearly showing a lot of faith in her; and as we know, it is well-deserved.

From the vault, Huddy estimates her potential for being a mainstay in the news game...
