Juliet Huddy's Scrapbook

While we continue to wait for Juliet Huddy's premiere on the 22nd (a mere 13 days away!) I thought we would take a brief walk down memory lane, and take a peak into the Huddy scrapbook.

First off - Juliet in a stunning white gown flanked by other Fox News ladies as well as former Secretary of State, Colin Powell.

Here, Juliet is with the same women. But I can not place that man - I have absolutely no idea who he is. Oh, did I forgot to mention that I had my regular Eternal Sunshine treatment this morning? It does wonders.

Can anyone name those Fox News ladies with Juliet?

Regis Barks, Juliet Will Bite Back

I read this in last Sunday's Parade magazine insert in my newspaper, where James Brady did his "In Step with.... Regis Philbin":
"Fox is reported to be launching a new morning-show competitor early in 2007, so I asked the 75-year-old Mr. Philbin about it. He looked around the room as if for statistics. 'Over the years, there must have been—how many—60 shows?' he said. 'Most of them are long gone.'"

Apparently, Reege is not so certain about the potential of Juliet Huddy's upcoming show.
On this matter, he will be sorely disappointed - he obviously has no idea what is coming - or who he will be coming up against.

One thing we do know for fact - Regis sure isn't what he used to be...

Juliet Huddy Live In New York

From the NY Post's Starr Report:
"Juliet Huddy, who's co-hosting Fox's new 'Morning Show with Mike and Juliet,' sits in for Ron Corning tomorrow [Jan. 5] on 'Good Day New York.' 'Morning Show,' co-hosted by Mike Jerrick, kicks off Jan. 22 (9 a.m./ Ch. 5)."

Enjoy the treat New Yorkers!

Word Spreading About Juliet's New Show

I'm glad to see that word is getting around about Juliet (and Mike's) Morning Show site - it is actually pretty cool, and has me licking my chops for the first show - it looks like Fox is investing alot in this production.

Anyway, glad Spud from Inside Cable News picked it up.

I agree that is looks like they were having a good time during that photo shoot.

Juliet Huddy Countdown Continues

Believe it or not, there are only 17 more days until "The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet" premieres on January 22!!

I am pretty fired up for this event - it has been far, far too long since Huddy was consistently on the air.

Tell me she is not ready for the network game - I dare you!

New Years Eve Juliet Huddy

In case you are planning a night in on New Year's Eve... Here is what Fox has lined up, featuring someone who hasn't been on the tube recently:
"In addition to musical performances, the special will feature live remotes from three cities hosting the Bowl Championship Series: Glendale, AZ, Miami, FL, and New Orleans, LA. Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy, the hosts of FOX's upcoming The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, will join FOX Sports' Allstate Sugar Bowl reporter Jeanne Zelasko in the festivities from New Orleans, while FOX Sports correspondent and FedEx Orange Bowl sideline reporter Laura Okmin will be reporting live from Miami. In Glendale, former Miss USA Shandi Finnessey will be joined by FOX Sports' Fiesta Bowl and BCS Championship Game reporter Chris Myers." (Movie Web)
With Juliet, 2007 will be started in a great way!

Happy Huddy Holidays

Like much of the blogosphere, I have been heartily celebrating the holiday festivities, and have obviously not been posting a heck of a lot.

I will again take a slight break for New Years, but I wanted to wish all my readers a Happy and Safe Holiday season...

From Juliet and me....

Where Have You Been!

Wow... I can't believe I have been so neglectful recently - I feel like Social Services might come and take away my precious blog. It has been a combination of a long weekend vacation and serious work coming in the door - I thought December was supposed to be relaxed!

Anyway, back to business - all things Juliet Huddy.

Thanks to YOU, my readers, for hanging on.

The Many Faces Of Juliet Huddy

Juliet is such a versatile host - she will be huge on network TV...

One minute she is pensive and steadfast, the next she is mysterious and perplexed...

Of course, she might have had a bad bite of a tube steak - we may never know... it's sometimes hard to tell with the pros.

Juliet Huddy Overpowers Gangsters

Not even tough guy Frank Vincent is immune from the powers of Juliet Huddy - succumbing to the power of a short skirt and power leather boots.

Seriously though, who wouldn't do the same?

Watch those eyes, pal.

Juliet Huddy = Ms. Clean?

Now I have no idea why Juliet seems to be posing in a bathroom - but if she indeed is getting ready for the shower - I just have one question - do you need any help washing your back? Or even your front?

Just call me...

Fortunate Fox: Juliet Huddy

As I'm sure you all know NBC and their staff are facing pretty hard times - apparently...
"In all, NBC's 6,000-person news operation — which includes cable channels MSNBC and CNBC, 10 network-owned affiliates and Spanish-language network Telemundo — is expected to shrink by about 400 positions over two years, according to network sources."
[LA Times, sub req.]
That said, it is not good to be working for NBC/MSNBC/CNBC these days - there have to be a lot of nervous people roaming the halls - particularly in Secaucus, NJ.

On the other hand, Fox and Fox News are doing quite well, which leads to a recent post at Jossip:
"With Today show and NBC Nightly News job cuts expected to arrive at any moment, industry insiders are wondering where all those pink slipped staffers are going to end up. But one well-placed source tells us a select number of them may not be out in the cold after all. We're told some of NBC's cuts may wind up at Fox News, thanks to an open door provided by Tom Mazzarelli. You know Tom as in the former senior producer at the Today show that just took a job (as of Monday) at FNC's yet-unnamed national morning show, to be hosted by former Dayside anchors Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy."
So, the cuts at NBC could eventually help the new Huddy & Co. morning show, which is great to hear. I don't think this means they are getting Al Roker, but you never know.

Juliet Huddy Follow-Up

From Hollywood Reporter:
Tom Mazzarelli, who most recently was senior producer on NBC's "Today," has been named executive producer of Fox's new national morning program, set to debut in January on the Fox O&Os.

The as-yet-untitled show, hosted by former Fox News Channel "DaySide" hosts Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy, will originate from New York and feature celebrity and newsmaker interviews as well as general-interest programming.

The program, a joint production of Fox Television Stations and Twentieth Television, will be live in most markets from 9-10 a.m. Mazzarelli also spent four years at MSNBC as a producer for the cable news channel's primetime programs. He also worked on CNN's "Larry King Live."

One thing that sticks out is that the new Fox network show has no title yet.
Any thoughts?

You know, if they were to borrow the title from this blog, it would be the ultimate compliment.
Dare to dream...
